Barbecued Pork Spareribs

3 cups cider vinegar
6 tablespoons packed brown sugar
6 tablespoons worcestershire sauce
1 1/2 cups ketchup
3 teaspoons salt
3 teaspoons dry mustard
1/3 teaspoon pepper
2 small cloves of garlic, minced
6 pounds pork spareribs
1. Preheat oven to 325 degrees F.
2. Combine all ingredients except ribs in a saucepan. Bring to a boil, reduce to simmer and cook 10 minutes.
3. Rinse ribs and pat dry. Bake in a roasting pan in hot oven for 45 minutes. Pour the sauce over the top and return to oven for another 45 minutes, basting occasionally. The meat should be tender and pull away from the bone easily when done.
4. For a fabulous barbecued flavor, when finished baking, throw them on a hot grill for a few minutes to get that hot, sizzling, grilled flavor.
5. Serve hot.
*If you are preparing this recipe as gluten-free, just be sure to use brands of worcestershire sauce and ketchup that are known to be GF.
