Yield: 6 servings

2 large avocados, peeled and chopped
1 Tablespoon freshly squeezed lime juice
1/2 teaspoon Tabasco sauce
1/4 cup minced cilantro
1 cup sour cream
2 cups cold chicken or vegetable broth
salt and white pepper to taste
1 medium tomato, diced
2 green onions, chopped
2 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
1. In a blender or food processor, combine avocados, lime juice, Tabasco, cilantro and sour cream; blend. Add broth and blend again. Taste, and add salt and pepper, as desired. Transfer to a bowl, cover and chill until ready to serve.
2. Spoon into bowls and garnish with tomato, green onion and bacon.
*If you are preparing this recipe as GLUTEN FREE, just make sure you use a brand of broth that is designated as GF, and a brand of bacon that is known to be GF.
