Sweet Potatoes with Apples
SWEET POTATOES W/ APPLES

6 large tart apples, cored, peeled and sliced
5 medium sweet potatoes, peeled
½ cup butter
1 cup hot water
1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees F.
2. Boil potatoes until tender and cut into thick slices.
3. Place a layer of potatoes in a baking dish, dot with butter, sprinkle with sugar, and then add with a layer of apples. Continue layering until all are used. Pour hot water over all and bake ½ hour, or until apples are tender.
