TEQUILA- LIME MARINADE
1 cup tequila gold
1 cup fresh lime juice
2 Tbs chopped garlic
½ medium onion, chopped
2 Tbs ground cumin
2 tsp salt
1 Tbs black pepper
2 cups vegetable oil
1. Combine all ingredients and mix well.
2. Determine amound of meat or fish to be marinated. If using chicken, cut into 1½” pieces. Put shrimp or chicken into a container or large ziploc bag and pour marinade over until covered.
3. Marinate shrimp for at least 1 hour, rotating container several times. Skewer and barbecue with or without veggies. Do not re-use the used marinade. Refrigerate any unused marinade.
