8 ounces bacon (pork or turkey), sliced in half crosswise
1/2 cup packed brown sugar
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Line a broiler pan with foil for easier cleanup. Place rack on top of lined broiler pan.
2. Mix sugar and cinnamon. Dip bacon in sugar mixture to coat. Twist each piece and place on broiler-pan rack. Bake 15-20 min. until bacon is crisp and sugar is bubbly- watch closely.. the sugar burns easily!
3. Place bacon on a piece of foil to cool. Don't use paper towels (they stick)! Serve warm or at room temperature.
*If you are preparing this recipe as gluten-free, just be sure to use a brand of bacon that is known to be GF.
