Glazed Chocolate Chip Brownies

Ingredients:
BROWNIE:
2/3 cup salted butter, melted
2 large eggs, lightly beaten
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
2 cups granulated white sugar
1 1/3 cups all-purpose flour
3/4 cup unsweetened cocoa
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup water
1 cup (6 ounces) semi-sweet chocolate chipsGLAZE:
3/4 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
1/4 cup milk
2 tablespoons salted butter
1 1/4 cups powdered sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extractDirections:
1. Preheat oven to 350°F. Spray 13x9x2-inch baking pan with nonstick spray.
2. Prepare the brownies: In a large bowl, use an electric mixer to combine the butter, eggs and vanilla. In a separate bowl, whisk together the dry ingredients; add to the butter mixture and mix well. Stir in the water and chocolate chips until combined. Pour into the prepared pan.
3. Bake 30 to 35 minutes or until brownies begin to pull away from the sides of the pan. Cool on a wire rack.
4. Prepare the glaze: In a saucepan, combine the chips, milk and butter over medium heat (stirring) until the chips and butter are melted and smooth. Remove from the heat; whisk in the powdered sugar and vanilla until smooth. Cover and refrigerate until the frosting is room temperature (about 20 minutes). Spread the glaze over the brownies. Cut into bars.
