SESAME- OATMEAL COOKIES

¾ cup butter, softened
2 cups granulated sugar
2 large eggs, beaten
2 cups flour
2 cups quick cooking oatmeal
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 Tbs ground cinnamon
1 Tbs ground cloves
¼ tsp salt
1 Tbs ground nutmeg
2 Tbs water
½ tsp baking soda
1 cup chopped pecans
1/3 cup toasted sesame seeds
1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
2. In a large bowl, cream butter and sugar; add eggs, mixing well. Add flour, oatmeal, vanilla, cinnamon, cloves, nutmeg and salt. Blend into wet mixture until well combined.
3. Stir in water and soda to form dough; add pecans and sesame seeds.
4. Drop spoonfuls onto greased cookie sheets. Bake 15 minutes, or until light brown.
