Sesame Oatmeal Cookies
Sesame isn't a usual ingredient for oatmeal cookies, but it's the delicious kick for these!

Ingredients
- ¾ cup (1½ sticks) butter, softened
- 2 cups granulated white sugar
- 2 large eggs, beaten
- 2 tablespoons water
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 cups all purpose flour
- 2 cups quick cooking oats
- 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
- 1 tablespoon ground cloves
- 1 tablespoon ground nutmeg
- ½ teaspoon baking soda
- ¼ teaspoon salt
- 1 cup chopped pecans
- ⅓ cup toasted sesame seeds
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.
- In a large bowl, use an electric mixer to cream butter and sugar; add eggs and water, mixing well.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together the dry ingredients (flour through salt). Blend into wet mixture until well combined.
- Stir in the pecans and sesame seeds.
- Drop spoonfuls onto greased cookie sheets. Bake 15 minutes, or until light brown.
