Since it's cheesecake, you need to treat them as you would a cheesecake. They should be served cold, but sitting out on the counter for a long time on a warm day wouldn't be so great.

How do these pops hold up when they're not in the frig or freezer? For example, if I were at a bbq/get together with family and they were out on the counter...
Thanks so much :)

Well, Bakerella is the definite expert on cake pops! This cheesecake pops recipe came from a cookbook, so I just followed the instructions there.

Hi Recipe Girl!

I've tried to make cake pops (you can see my epic fail at my blog- www.collegiatecreative.wordpress.com) and they fall off the sticks and just aren't as delicious as I want them to be!

My issues:
Am I adding too much frosting to the cake ball batter? The batter was sticky to roll and a giant mess
I'm afraid to make the chocolate too hot so that it can be runny because I thought it might not hold up as well- is this a big deal? hot hot chocolate? I added vegetable oil to make it run better, too
Bakerella said not to freeze cake pops until they are frozen hard- is she mistaken?

I can't wait to try cheesecake- I'm sure that they would stick better to the sticks and be easier to dip! Thanks for the recipe!
