5 lbs standing rib roast beef
salt and pepper to taste

1. Preheat oven to 500 degrees F.

2. Season roast with salt and pepper. Place roast in oven for 5 minutes per pound. Then turn off oven and leave roast inside for 2 hours. Do not open the oven door. It comes out perfect every time!
