Hoisin and Lime Marinated Grilled Chicken

Hoisin and Lime Marinated Grilled Chicken


  • 1/4 cup hoisin sauce
  • 1 Tablespoon grated peeled fresh ginger
  • 2 Tablespoons low-sodium soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon grated lime zest
  • 2 teaspoons dark sesame oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 8 cloves garlic, minced
  • 6 (6-ounce) skinless, boneless chicken breast halves


  1. Combine hoisin sauce, ginger, and next 5 ingredients (though garlic) in a large zip-top plastic bag. Add chicken to bag; seal. Marinate in refrigerator for at least 2 hours, turning bag occasionally.
  2. Prepare grill.
  3. Remove chicken from bag; discard marinade. Place chicken on grill rack coated with cooking spray, and grill for 5 minutes on each side or until chicken is done.


*Also good sliced and tossed in salad.
