Thanks so much for sharing this recipe. I'm excited to make it. I love candy corn and this sweet/salty combination looks great! By the way, today is National Candy Corn Day. I put up a post on our blog today about candy corn and I linked to your site for this recipe. I would love for you to visit us at www.bigsislilsis.com and let me know what you think. I don't know why I just now discovered your blog. I will be subscribing. I also live in San Diego.<br/>Happy Halloween!

ALSO... if you have a pretty thick chocolate that won't pour, you can always add a small amount of shortening to it to smooth it out and make it more runny. I always do that when I'm doing dipping for cookies and candies.

Sheri- I think what type of chocolate you buy probably determines how well it will melt. That particular brand that I bought melted super easily and stayed pretty liquidy too for a while (I just did mine in the microwave). It was very easy to pour and even stayed wet while I had a chance to add more candy corn and sprinkles. Some chocolates don't melt as well as others I guess.

How did you get your chocolate perfectly pourable? Mine melted fine, but wouldn't pour. I finally had to put everything into the bowl with the chocolate, stir to coat, then spread it on the cookie sheet.
