HOT RUM SAUCE
½ cup butter
1 cup brown sugar, packed
1 tsp flour
½ cup boiling water
1/3 cup rum
1. Place butter, sugar and flour in small saucepan. Blend thoroughly and add boiling water. Cook over low heat until mixture thickens and is clear.
2. Remove from heat and stir in rum.
*If you enjoy a stronger rum flavor, increase the quantity to 1/2 cup rum.
**Serve over bread pudding or ice cream.
