The hubby is not big on fruit and I miss big bowls of fruit salad on hot summer days. This sounds so refreshing and good that I’ll give it a try on our camping trip. I could make the syrup ahead of time to make it easier for camping.

Sounds great, love that flavor combination.
I learned where to buy fruit that actually taste the way it’s supposed to be. I realized that when I buy fruit that tastes like nothing we end up not eating it. What a waste of money. What a waste of summer! So I might spend a few more cents/pound on produce but at least we eat fresh, flavroful, organic fruit.
If more people will do this (at least from time to time, to support the “cause”), prices will eventually go down.
