Our hosts let us take the carcass home and we immediately made stock for turkey and dumpling soup. Soup's perfect for the sudden cold/rainy spell we're having in San Diego, huh?

Looks yummy! My guys are so into the leftover turkey, we rarely have enough to do anything like this. I keep trying to get larger birds, and they just dig in even more. I'll have to just oogle your comforting bowl of soup ; )
