Oatmeal Creations Help Raise Money for Share Our Strength

I’m excited to share with you a video project I’ve been working on with Quaker and GoodBite to help raise up to $25,000 for Share Our Strength, a charity devoted to ending childhood hunger in America.  Chef Dave teaches me a new way to jazz up my oatmeal, which has been daily fare for me in the midst of my healthy eating venture.  Click play to watch!

I encourage my readers to go to the Quaker Create Your Day website for a quick visit——and make an oatmeal creation of you own that will help you tackle the day that lies ahead of you. Every time you visit the creation station, GoodBite.com & Quaker will donate $1.00 to “Share Our Strength”- up to $25,000. $25,000 will go a long way to helping Share Our Strength continue their important work in putting an end to childhood hunger.

Our family has already visited the creation station a few times to try it out, and my son has been begging to go back. Let your own kids do it and you might find that they’ll actually be willing to try something new! It’s rather fun to do… you get to create a story (just a few clicks) that helps you to create your day, and the website will create an oatmeal combination for you.  Please get your family & friends involved and help us raise money for this great cause. Come back & tell me about your experience with the creation station, and let me know about what you created!
