Win $250 Gift Card to Williams Sonoma

Dear Readers,

GoodBite and I have joined forces this holiday season to share my favorite family heirloom recipe: Grandma Billie’s Cinnamon Rolls.

Go to the GoodBite website to watch my Grandma Billie’s Cinnamon Rolls “how-to” video, then leave a comment on that video post sharing your favorite family heirloom recipe. That’s all you have to do to enter to win a $250 gift card to Williams Sonoma.

Don’t leave a comment on this post (unless you just want to say hi!)- be sure to leave a comment on the Goodbite Favorite Family Recipe video post if you’d like to be entered to win :)

My recipe for the cinnamon rolls can be found here: Grandma Billie’s Cinnamon Rolls
(or on the Goodbite post too!)

The winner will be chosen and announced on GoodBite on December 15th.

My late mother was an excellent cook and baker. We use her recipes for every holiday dinner from ham at Easter, turkey at Thanksgiving and prime rib on Christmas Eve with different side dishes each holiday. She started her Christmas baking the day after Thanksgiving and I still bake her recipes for banana walnut bread, lemon quick bread with a confectioners’ sugar lemon glaze, Mexican wedding cake cookies, magic bars, lemon bars, chocolate rum balls, pecan pie, lemon meringue pie, pumpkin pie and a decadent chocolate zucchini cake with fudge glaze. Everyone from my son-in-law’s parents to my grandchildren request one of her cakes for their birthday ~ Ding Dong cake {chocolate sheet cake with chocolate pudding and whipped cream filling and fudge frosting}, angel food cake with a strawberry and whipped cream filling with whipped cream instead of frosting or her chocolate zucchini cake.} I’m not a big cake eater, so she always made me her mashed potato cake donuts rolled in cinnamon sugar. Now, I make them for myself. She passed away three years ago, but left a wonderful legacy. Everyone, including my 13-year-old granddaughter and 9-year-old grandson, has fond memories of cooking with her and always request her recipes for any special occasion.
