Shabby Apple Dress Giveaway… Choose Your Favorite!

There is not much more in this world that I love besides shopping. Okay, food… and cooking… and creating recipes… and my husband… and kiddo too, but beyond that- SHOPPING! I’m so excited to offer this giveaway today from ShabbyApple.com. You have the chance to win a dress- THE DRESS OF YOUR CHOICE from their website. Details are at the end of this post :)

Cute stuff, huh? I’m dying to shop with them.

I hope you read this. I hope these words here absorbed into your very soul. There are very few companies that pay attention to the fact that women are all shapes and sizes. These Shabby Apple folks- they’re paying attention! Here are a few of the dresses I’ve fallen in love with…

Simple and classic, and then kind of funky.  I love both of these.

The first one is totally me, and the polka-dot would look totally cute on someone else.

I adore both of these, but most of all that white one.  It’s so feminine and pretty!

 


The pink one- that’s for me walking around Paris exploring art galleries.  The fluttery skirt one… not sure where I would wear that, but I just sort of dig it.

    I haven’t bought a new dress in ages because I haven’t really liked the styles I’ve been seeing, or the style isn’t one that is flattering on me. It can be tough to find a dress that looks good on someone who is short with ZERO torso! I love that Shabby Apple has so many vintage inspired dressed (totally me) and dresses that are made for every body shape. There’s no way I can’t find one that would be the perfect match for me!

    I would give the dress to my friend Lisa, who is an awesome special ed teacher, who is having a very hard time right now with her school district. She gives 200% everyday to her students and her work. The administration just doesn’t seem to see that “students do need to be first,” and that some of the teachers are really working hard to try to keep up with all their demands, and love, and help all the students at the same time. She hasn’t smiled for awhile and a new beautiful dress just might be the ticket.

    My mother used to tell me stories of when we lived in England and how she used to wear dresses everyday only if she had one that was my size (I was just a toddler!) that matched. She always told me how she admired the fashion in England because you rarely ever saw a female wear pants, and she was able to embrace her femininity. When we moved to Chicago, she looked around and felt out of place wearing dresses everyday. Now she blames it on her “body” figure and all I want to do is find her the perfect dress that I know she will look beautiful in this Christmas.     I’d never heard of Shabby Apple before, but your sweet intro words about the soul and about how women come in all different shapes and sizes really touched me, and the dresses are absolutely gorgeous. I looked at their site, and see that Shabby Apple enables women to find dresses that suit their particular body shape- what a concept!     I went to a beautiful store a few weeks ago and fell in love with a beautiful little black dress…it was regularly 200 dollars, but on sale for 160…but I still couldn’t justify buying it since it wasn’t necessary.

    Well, lately I’ve been having some difficulty finding well-fitting dresses at the stores around me, but I’ve totally fallen in love with the Champs Elysees dress.
