Have I inspired you to make some CHICKEN? I hope so. And if you’re so inclined, you may even be inspired to create your own recipe. I’m doing a fun gig (for free) this September where I’ll be judging the regional finals in San Diego for the Foster Farm’s Fresh Chicken Cooking Contest! You have the chance to win a grand prize of $10,000 plus a one-year supply of Foster Farms fresh chicken! Home, amateur and professional chefs from California, Oregon and Washington are eligible to submit their recipes to the Contest. Those with the best original, fresh chicken recipes using West Coast fresh, locally grown ingredients will move on to compete in regional finals, culminating at the Finals at The Culinary Institute of America at Greystone in St. Helena, Calif. on September 28. The deadline to enter is June 3, 2012 at 11:59:59 p.m. PDT. Have fun with some chicken and submit a recipe! Good luck!
