Easy Stuffed Mushrooms

 

Easy Stuffed Mushrooms

 

This is so simple but always gets raves from guests.
 

1 lb 

 

white button mushrooms

 

1 tube 

 

Jimmy Dean sausage

Clean mushrooms and cut off stems. Chop stems finely. Scoop out centers of mushrooms. Mix chopped stems and centers with sausage. Fill mushrooms with sausage mixture.

Arrange in glass baking dish with 3 T. water in dish.

Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes.

Serve immediately.

***Hey, this one's a keeper!- would make it again.  "For a different spin on this recipe, brown the sausage, drain and cool. Mix with one package 8oz. of cream cheese. Fill the mushrooms with the mixture and cook for the same amount of time at the same temp. You won't forget the cream cheese after you've tried this version!"
