APPETIZER
FINGER FOODS:
Red Chile Popcorn

freshly popped popcorn |
|

butter |
|

dried red chile peppers |
|

garlic salt |
|

roasted peanuts |

Preheat oven
to 200°F. Place popcorn in a large baking pan
and keep warm in the oven. |

Heat butter
in a saucepan over low heat until melted. Stir
in the chile peppers. Cook for 5 minutes,
stirring occasionally. Discard the chile
peppers, reserving the butter. |

Pour butter
over popcorn and toss to coat. Add garlic salt
and peanuts, and toss to mix. |

it, but didn't love it!- would
make it again. "I made this for our Cinco de Mayo party.
It was good, but I couldn't really taste the chile flavor much. I
would make it again and add a couple more of the dried chiles in the
butter to absorb more spicy flavor."
