cream cheese, softened |

grated sharp
Cheddar cheese, at room temperature |

brandy or
sherry |

Granny Smith
apple |

dried basil |
|
|
1 tsp |
|
dried
oregano |
|
|
1 tsp |

dried thyme |

freshly
ground black pepper |

Combine cream
cheese, Cheddar, and brandy in a bowl. Beat until
smooth. |

Peel, core, and
grate the apple; add it to the bowl. |

Add the basil,
oregano, thyme, and pepper; stir until thoroughly
combined. |

Spoon the mixture
into a crock; cover and chill for approximately 1 hour.
Serve on toast points or crackers. |

Cooking Tips |
|
*It's ok to use reduced-fat
cream cheese, but do use regular sharp cheddar for maximum
flavor. |
