Red Chile Popcorn |

Eat and watch old
movies... perhaps Some Like It Hot?

freshly
popped popcorn |
|

¼ cup |

butter |
|
|
2 small |
|
dried red
chile peppers |
|
|
½ tsp |
|
garlic salt |
|
|
2 cups |

roasted
peanuts |

Preheat oven to
200°F. Place popcorn in a large baking pan and keep warm
in the oven. |

Heat butter in a
saucepan over low heat until melted. Stir in the chile
peppers. Cook for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Discard the chile peppers, reserving the butter. |

Pour butter over
popcorn and toss to coat. Add garlic salt and peanuts,
and toss to mix. |
