Feta Cheese Foldovers

 

Golden puffed pastries filled with with feta...
 

8 oz 

 

feta cheese, crumbled

 

3 Tbs 

 

finely chopped green onions

 

1 large 

 

egg, lightly beaten

 

17.3 ounce 

 

package frozen puff pastry, thawed

 

1 large 

 

egg yolk, beaten with 1 teaspoon water

Preheat oven to 375°F.

In a small bowl, blend feta, onions and egg. Cut pastry into twelve 3-inch squares. Place a mounded Tablespoon of feta mixture in the center of each square. Moisten edges with water and fold pastry over filling to form a triangle. Firmly press edges together with a fork to seal. Lightly brush pastries with the egg yolk mixture. Place pastries on a baking sheet.

Bake 20 minutes or until golden brown. Serve warm or at room temperature.
