 Citrus-Banana Brunch Punch

 

A great brunch punch that you make in advance...
 

6 medium 

 

ripe bananas

 

1 12oz. 

 

can frozen orange juice concentrate, thawed

 

1 6oz. 

 

can frozen lemonade concentrate, thawed

 

3 cups 

 

warm water, divided

 

2 cups 

 

granulated sugar, divided

 

1 46oz. 

 

can pineapple juice

 

3 2-liter 

 

bottles lemon lime soda

 

 

 

orange slices for garnish

In blender or food processor, blend bananas and frozen concentrates until smooth. Remove half of the mixture and set aside.

Add 1½ cups of warm water and 1 cup of sugar to the mixture in the blender; blend until smooth. Place in a large freezer safe container. Blend remaining water and sugar with the other half of the mixture and add to the freezer container. Freeze until solid.

About an hour before serving, take frozen punch out of the freezer. Let sit at room temperature.

When ready to serve, place frozen mix in a large punch bowl. Add pineapple juice and lemon lime; stir until well blended. Garnish with floating orange slices.
