 Coffee- Ice Cream Punch

 

This recipe was adapted from a great Southern Living recipe...
 

1 quart 

 

strong brewed coffee, chilled

 

1 cup 

 

whipping cream

 

½ tsp 

 

almond extract

 

dash 

 

of salt

 

1 quart 

 

vanilla ice cream

 

1 quart 

 

chocolate ice cream

 

 

 

fresh grated nutmeg

In large bowl, whisk together chilled coffee, whipping cream, and almond extract.

Scoop vanilla and chocolate ice creams into a punch bowl; add coffee mixture, gently stirring until ice cream begins to melt.

Serve immediately with fresh grated nutmeg sprinkled on top.

 

Yield: 13 cups

 

 Cooking Tips

*Use a good quality coffee and good quality ice creams- the flavor will be even better!

**You can try to lighten this up a bit by using light whipping cream and light ice creams.
