A lovely homemade
lemonade...

1 cup |
|
fresh or
frozen raspberries |
|
|
12 cups |
|
water |
|
|
3 cups |
|
fresh lemon
juice (about 15 large lemons) |
|
|
1½ cups |
|
granulated
sugar |
|
|
2 tsp |
|
finely
chopped fresh mint |
|
|
|
|
additional
mint leaves, raspberries and lemon slices |

In a large glass or
ceramic bowl, mash the raspberries lightly with a fork.
Add water, lemon juice, sugar and mint to the
raspberries and mix gently until sugar dissolves. |

Strain the raspberry
mixture into a large pitcher, discarding the solids.
Chill, covered, in the refrigerator. Pour the lemonade
over ice in glasses and garnish with additional
raspberries, lemon slices and/or fresh mint leaves. |
