Lime Daiquiris

 

Sparkling water adds a nice little fizz to the classic rum cocktail...
 

¼ cup 

 

fresh lime juice

 

¼ cup 

 

dark rum

 

4 to 5 tsp 

 

granulated sugar

 

¼ tsp 

 

finely grated lime peel

 

¼ cup 

 

sparkling water

 

 

 

crushed ice

 

 

 

lime wedges for garnish, if desired

Combine first 4 ingredients in small pitcher. Stir until sugar dissolves. Mix in sparkling water.

Fill small glasses with ice. Divide beverage between glasses. Place lime wedges in drink or on rim of glass.
