 Mango Smoothies

 

Fresh and delicious!
 

1 large 

 

mango, peeled and cut into chunks

 

1 cup 

 

plain nonfat yogurt

 

2 Tbs 

 

sugar

 

1 tsp 

 

fresh lemon juice

 

½ cup 

 

ice water

 

3 (or more) 

 

ice cubes

Blend mangos until puréed. Combine 1 cup of the purée, the yogurt, sugar and lemon juice in a blender and process until smooth. Add ice water and process until well combined. Add ice cubes and process just until the ice is crushed, adding additional ice cubes if desired.

Pour the smoothie mixture into two frosted glasses.

Garnish with lemon slices and serve immediately.
