 New Orleans Milk Punch

 

Great for brunches...
 

1½ cups 

 

milk

 

1½ cups 

 

half and half cream

 

½ cup 

 

crème de cacao (plus 2 Tablespoons)

 

¼ cup 

 

bourbon (plus 2 Tablespoons)

 

2 Tbs 

 

powdered sugar

 

2 large 

 

egg whites

 

 

 

crushed ice

 

 

 

ground nutmeg

Combine milk, half and half, crème de cacao, bourbon, sugar and egg whites in blender. Blend until frothy.

Serve over crushed ice and sprinkle with nutmeg.

 

Yield: 1 1/4 quarts

*Using whole milk will allow this punch to be creamier and rich...
