Leave out the vodka for a
kid-friendly beverage...

thawed frozen raspberries |

fresh lemon
juice (12 to 15 lemons) |

granulated
sugar |

1½ cups |

vodka (more
or less according to preference) |

chopped fresh mint |

raspberries, lemon slices and/or fresh mint
leaves for garnish |

Mash the raspberries
lightly with a fork in a large glass or ceramic bowl.
Add the water, lemon juice, sugar and mint to the
raspberries and mix gently until the sugar dissolves. |

Strain the raspberry
mixture into a large pitcher, discarding the solids.
Chill, covered, in the refrigerator. Mix in vodka before
serving. Pour the lemonade over ice in glasses and
garnish. |
