Sangrita Cocktail

 

 

Originating from Jalisco, Mexico...
 

¼ cup 

 

tequila

 

3 Tbs 

 

chilled tomato juice

 

3 Tbs 

 

chilled orange juice

 

1 Tbs 

 

fresh lime juice

 

½ tsp 

 

grenadine

 

¼ tsp 

 

tabasco

 

¼ tsp 

 

soy sauce

 

1 wedge 

 

lime

 

 

In a tall glass, combine tequila, tomato juice, orange juice, lime juice, grenadine, tabasco, and soy sauce. Add 5 or 6 cubes from a home-style ice tray and stir to blend. Squeeze the lime wedge into the cocktail and serve immediately.
