|
bottle of Chenin Blanc (or other dry
white wine) |

Essensia (orange Muscat, a sweet dessert
wine) |

sliced strawberries |
|
|

peach liqueur |
|
|

peaches, each cut into 12 slices (keep
skin on) |

orange, cut crosswise into 6 slices |

lemon, cut crosswise into 6 slices |

strawberry syrup (optional) |

In a large
pitcher, mix white
wine, Essensia, strawberries, peach liqueur,
peaches, orange slices, lemon slices, and
strawberry syrup in a large pitcher.
Smash down orange and lemon slices slightly with
a wooden spoon |

Cover and
let stand at room temperature at least 2 hours,
or chill up
to 4 hours. |

sangria over ice. |

Cooking Tips |
|
*Strawberry syrup
can be found near the maple syrup at some supermarkets
and specialty food stores.
*Ask for Essensia at liquor stores. It should also
be available in supermarkets with a good wine selection. |

original batch didn't make very much so I added an exra bottle of
Riesling I had. EVERYONE loved it. I didn't add the strawberry syrup as
it was just right sweetness wise. I also used frozen peaches because
they're not in season and they were great. VERY EASY AND VERY GOOD.
