Boil water
in a large pot. Add garlic salt, pepper and a
bottle of beer. When water is at a rolling boil,
add sausages. Boil until cooked through (less
than 10 minutes). Cut into one of the sausages
to make sure that they're done. Remove from
water and place on paper towels. |
|
2 |
Heat grill.
Grill sausages until they are crisp on the
outside; don't overcook them (remember that they
are already cooked through. Heat rolls on grill,
if desired. |

Meanwhile,
in a large skillet, sauté peppers and onions in
butter until soft and browned on edges. Add salt
and pepper to taste. Mix in pizza sauce and heat
to warm. |

Cooking Tips |
|
*If desired, slice
sausages on the diagonal and add them to the sauce
mixture; or slice them in half. |
|
**If preparing these
sandwiches for a tailgate party, boil the sausages at
home and bring the rest to the tailgate party to prepare
on your grill. |
