 French Coffee Punch

 

This can be made up to several days in advance and stored in the refrigerator...
 

1 lb 

 

coffee, brewed

 

3 squares 

 

unsweetened chocolate, melted

 

9 Tbs 

 

granulated sugar

 

2 quarts 

 

milk

 

½ gallon 

 

vanilla ice cream, cut into small pieces

Pour brewed coffee into large bowl. Add melted chocolate and mix well. Cool to room temperature.

Add sugar and milk. Refrigerate.

When ready to serve, place vanilla ice cream in bottom of a punch bowl. Pour coffee mixture over ice cream and stir.

Serve in punch cups.

 

Yield: 40 cups
