Sparkling Orange Champagne Punch

 

 Sparkling Orange Champagne Punch

 

 

4 cups 

 

boiling water

 

4 regular 

 

sized tea bags

 

½ cup 

 

superfine sugar

 

1 6oz. 

 

can orange juice concentrate, thawed

 

1  

 

bottle of brut champagne, chilled

Pour 4 cups of boiling water over the tea bags. Cover and steep for 5 minutes. Remove and discard tea bags.

Stir in sugar and juice concentrate, stirring until sugar dissolves. Cover and chill for at least 2 hours.

When ready to serve, stir together chilled tea mixture and sparkling chilled champagne.

Pour into champagne flutes or tall wine glasses and serve immediately.

 

Servings: 8

Cooking Tips: 
*
Superfine sugar can be found in most grocery stores, gourmet food shops or cooking stores.  It dissolves more quickly than regular granulated sugar.  You certainly can use regular sugar for this recipe... you'll just need to stir more to dissolve the sugar.
