 Honey Bread

 

Delicious thinly sliced, toasted and served with cream cheese and orange marmalade...
 

1 cup 

 

honey

 

1 cup 

 

milk

 

1 cup 

 

firmly packed brown sugar

 

2 tsp 

 

ground cinnamon

 

1 tsp 

 

baking soda

 

½ tsp 

 

salt

 

3½ cups 

 

flour

Beat honey, milk and brown sugar until well blended. Mix together dry ingredients and add to honey mixture.

Pour into a well-greased 5x9" loaf pan and bake at 250 degrees F. for 2½ hours, or until it tests done with a toothpick.

 

Yield: One loaf
