Banana Chocolate Chip Bread

 

Banana- Chocolate Chip Bread

 

The kids love the chocolate bits in this banana bread...
 

¼ lb 

 

butter, softened (1 stick)

 

1 ¼ cups 

 

sugar

 

1 tsp 

 

baking soda

 

4 Tbs 

 

sour cream

 

2 large 

 

eggs

 

1 cup 

 

mashed ripe bananas (about 2 medium)

 

1 tsp 

 

vanilla

 

6 oz 

 

chocolate chips (mini chips are best)

 

1 ½ cups 

 

flour

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease and flour one loaf pan.

In large bowl, cream butter and sugar together. Add baking soda, sour cream, eggs, bananas and vanilla. Blend well. Add flour until well mixed, and then stir in the chocolate chips.

Pour batter into loaf pan and bake 40-50 minutes, or until toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.

 

Servings: 15

Yield: One loaf

 

 Cooking Tips

*You may also use 3 baby loaf pans- test after 35 minutes of baking.
