onion, chopped finely |

chopped fresh chives |

whole kernel corn, rinsed and drained |

In medium
sauté pan, cook bacon and onion over medium heat
until bacon is browned. |

While bacon
is cooking, combine flour, chives, baking
powder, salt and pepper. Stir in milk, egg and
oil just until moist. Stir in bacon and onion
and remaining ingredients. |

Heat and
grease griddle or flat-wide pan. Pour about 1/3
cup of the batter onto the griddle and cook
until golden brown- about 3-4 minutes per side. |

Serve warm
with syrup. |
