 Hot Pepper Jelly

 

Terrific with cream cheese and crackers...
 

1 green 

 

bell pepper, seeded and chopped

 

2/3 cup 

 

jalapeño peppers, seeded and chopped

 

1½ cups 

 

vinegar

 

6 cups 

 

sugar

 

1 bottle 

 

Certo

 

1 tsp 

 

green food coloring

Place peppers in food processor with vinegar. Blend well. Pour into 3 or 4 quart saucepan. Add sugar and mix well. Bring mixture to a rolling boil. Boil 1-2 minutes. Remove from heat. Immediately add Certo and food coloring.

Pour into sterilized jars and seal. Let cool.

 

Yield: 7 1/2 pint jars
