 Peach- Orange Jam

 

Delicious spread for your home-baked goods...
 

2 cups 

 

fresh peaches, peeled, pitted and chopped finely

 

1½ cups 

 

granulated sugar

 

1 medium

Use zester to cut off outer skin of orange (just the orange part, not the white pith).  Set aside zest.

Chop up orange pulp (discard white pith) into small pieces.

In top of double boiler mix peaches and sugar. Bring to a boil. Add the orange pulp and rind, and simmer for about 45 minutes.

Pour into jars and seal.
