 Strawberry Jam

 

Easy and delicious...
 

8 cups 

 

halved fresh strawberries

 

2 cups 

 

granulated sugar

 

4 tsp 

 

fresh lemon juice

Combine strawberries and sugar in a medium saucepan. Simmer over medium-high heat, stirring frequently for a few minutes. Reduce heat to medium, and simmer for 1 hour (or until thick), stirring occasionally. Remove from heat, and stir in lemon juice. Cool to room temperature.

Store in a plastic container in the refrigerator for up to one month.

 

Yield: 4 cups
