Delicious almond
flavor mixed with flaky coconut...

Preheat oven
to 350 degrees F. Spray 8x8" baking pan with
nonstick cooking spray. |

Combine
flour, baking powder and salt; set aside. |

Melt butter
in large saucepan. Stir in brown sugar. Lightly
beat in egg and almond extract. Mix coconut with
dry ingredients and gradually add to hot
mixture. |

Spread in
pan and bake 35 minutes, or until browned. Let
cool for 10 minutes in the pan; remove from pan
and cool on wire rack. Cut into 24 bars. |

substituting sliced almonds for the coconut. |
