 Ooey Gooey Brownies

 

Decadent chocolate at its best!
 

1 cup 

 

flour

 

½ tsp 

 

baking powder

 

¼ tsp 

 

salt

 

¾ cup 

 

butter

 

6 Tbs 

 

cocoa

 

3 large 

 

eggs

 

1 ½ cups 

 

sugar

 

1 tsp 

 

vanilla extract

milk chocolate bars, chopped into ¼" pieces

Preheat oven to 325 degrees F.

Combine first 3 ingredients; set aside.

Melt butter in medium saucepan over medium heat; add cocoa and cook, stirring constantly, until consistency of chocolate sauce. Remove from heat. Add eggs, stirring until blended. Add sugar, stirring until smooth. Add flour mixture stirring until smooth. Stir in vanilla. Let cool 5 minutes. Add chocolate pieces, stirring quickly to keep from melting.

Pour batter into 8x12" pan lightly coated with cooking spray.

Bake 20-25 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.  Let cool before cutting into bars.

 Cooking Tips

*Try freezing the chocolate bits so they don't melt too much in the brownie batter.
