CRUST: |

packed brown sugar |

finely ground walnuts

FILLING: |
|
|
¼
cup |

granulated sugar |
|

egg |

milk |

fresh lemon juice |

vanilla extract |

cream cheese, at room temperature |

Preheat oven
to 350 degrees F. |

To prepare
crust: cream butter and sugar. Add flour and
walnuts.
Blend to make a mixture of coarse
crumbs.
Reserve ½ cup for
topping. Press mixture into
greased square pyrex pan.
Bake 10-12 minutes
until browned. |

Place all
filling ingredients into large bowl. Blend until
well mixed.
Pour over hot crust. Sprinkle with
the reserved crumbs.
Bake for 25 minutes. |

Remove from
oven, cool, and cut before refrigerating. |

Cooking Tips:
*A food processor is perfect for preparing finely
ground walnuts.
