In a large
mixing bowl, cream butter and sugars. Add eggs,
one at a time, beating well with an electric
mixer after each addition. Beat in almond
extract. |

Combine
flour, baking soda and salt. Gradually add dry
ingredients to wet mixture. |

Combine
chips and nuts and mix well; stir into dough.
Cover and refrigerate dough for 1 hour, or until
easy to handle. |

Preheat oven
to 325° F. |

Drop by
Tablespoonfuls 2" apart onto greased baking
sheets. Bake 18-20 minutes, or until golden
brown. Remove to wire racks to cool. |
