brown sugar |

smooth peanut butter |

Preheat oven
to 375 degrees F. |

In large
mixing bowl, combine all ingredients except
kisses. Blend very well. Shape dough into balls
using rounded teaspoonfuls. Roll balls in sugar;
place on ungreased cookie sheet. |

Bake 10-12
minutes. Remove from oven. Top each cookie
immediately with a kiss, pressing down firmly as
cookie cracks around the edges. |

If possible,
place in freezer until kisses harden again.
Otherwise, let sit for several hours in a cool
place until kisses firm up. |

|
*You can easily make
this a Christmas cookie by rolling the PB balls in red
and green sugar. |
