The kids say, "Keep 'em coming!" Butterscotch chips are a fabulous flavor in this cookie...
 

2 cups 

 

flour

 

½ tsp 

 

baking powder

 

½ tsp 

 

baking soda

 

½ tsp 

 

salt

 

1 cup 

 

butter, softened

 

1 cup 

 

granulated sugar

 

1 cup 

 

brown sugar

 

2 large 

 

eggs

 

1 tsp 

 

vanilla extract

 

2 cups 

 

oatmeal

 

6 ounces 

 

butterscotch chips or chocolate chips

In a medium-sized bowl, sift the flour, baking powder, soda and salt together.

In a large bowl, cream butter with sugars. Add eggs to the creamed mixture. Beat until smooth. Add the flour mixture gradually to the creamed ingredients. Then add vanilla, oatmeal and chips.

Drop small spoonfuls onto a greased baking sheet. Bake at 350 degrees for 15 minutes.

 

Servings: 48

Yield: 4 dozen

 

 Cooking Tips

*Ice cream scoopers make great "cookie droppers." Ice cream scoopers are sold in different sizes.
