flour, sifted |

cream of tartar |

sugar and cinnamon |

In large
bowl, mix shortening, sugar and eggs. |

Sift dry
ingredients together and stir into wet mixture.
Chill dough in refrigerator until firm. |

Preheat oven
to 375 degrees F. |

Roll into
small balls. Roll balls in mixture of cinnamon
and sugar, and place on ungreased baking sheet. |

Bake 8-10
minutes until cookies are flattened and crinkly.
