Buttermilk Pie
 

 Buttermilk Pie

 

A delicate custard pie that your guests will love...
 

1 ¼ cups 

 

granulated sugar

 

¼ cup 

 

flour

 

2 cups 

 

buttermilk

 

3 large 

 

eggs, beaten

 

1 tsp 

 

vanilla extract

 

1 9" 

 

unbaked pastry pie shell

 

¼ cup 

 

butter

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

Stir together sugar and flour. Add buttermilk, eggs and vanilla.

Melt the butter over low heat. Add to buttermilk mixture and mix well.

Pour into unbaked pie shell and bake for 35-40 minutes.
