websites of interest:
We love our website here at
RecipeGirl.com,
but we have other favorites too.
We enjoy
epicurious.com,
cookinglight.com and
foodandwine.com.
If you're looking for
something specific, simply put your recipe
name in
the Google search bar and see
what comes up. We prefer to find
sites that
include ratings so you can see feedback
about the recipes.
finding great
serving pieces and
platters:
Good stores to find great
pieces: Tuesday
Morning, Target, Marshalls, Ross, Home
Goods, TJ
Maxx, Mervyns. If you don't
have room to keep multiple sets of
dishware, choose white pieces only-
it's much easier to find additional pieces
and mix and match.

fabrics:
Joanne Fabrics, Walmart,
Fabrics
R Us, any local fabric store.... look
for discounted fabric in
the back of
the store, or purchase theme related
fabric when it's 50%
off! You don't
need to have to know how to sew to
use fabric for
your decor. An easy
way to use fabric is to use a plain
tablecloth, then use a strip of colorful
fabric to run down the middle
of your
table. You can turn it under with
"stitch witchery" (found
at the fabric
store) and it just irons under the fabric
to make a quick
seam.
bamboo plate idea:
There is a terrific company that makes
disposable
bamboo plates. On their
website, you can put in your zip code
and
they will tell you where they are sold
in a store near you (or you can
buy them
online). Check them out at
bambuhome.com
